HELLO FROM COLUSA

THIS IS MY FIRST ENTRY, AND I HAVE BEEN READING EVERYONES ENTRY'S. THAT ALONE IS HELPING ME STAY WITH MY MAINTAINANCE PROGRAM. I AM 7 1/2MONTHS OUT AND HAVE LOST 88 LBS ( AND DIABETES, CHOLESTEROL, HIGH TRYGLYCERIDES AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE.) MY GOAL WAS 80 LBS . I HAVE BEEN ON MAINAINANCE SINCE JANUARY AND HAVE GAINED BACK 3 LBS. SO BACK TO THE HIGH PROTEINS FOR ME AND NO SNACKING. THAT NOW SEEMS TO BE MY STRUGGLE. THANK YOU CASEY FOR STARTING THIS FORUM. ARE THERE ANY SUPPORT GROUPS LEFT IN CHICO???

Are you planning on coming up on the 2nd saturdays for group meetings?
I think the only one we have going now is on the third thursday of each month at Shasta Regional Hospital (or whatever it's called now).

I'll hopefully get a sticky posted and keep it updates on what the actual date is and the time.

We don't have the support group on Saturday anymore. It's the 3rd thursday of the month at night. Our program doesn't have a support group in Chico anymore. But there is one there that is run through Chico's surgery program. It meets the last wednesday of the month and it's in the building across the street from enloe...It is meeting the 29th of April.

Hi Marianne- Congratulations on you success. That is so great. I don't think that there is a support group in Chico anymore. I moved to the Redding area, so that is where I go now. Great job on being at maintainance. I still have a little ways to go before I am there. Thank you so much for the kind words I feel great

Support groups are only on the 3rd Thursday now at 5:30 pm in the Liberty 2 room at the hospital
