I decided to begin the 5 day pouch test yesterday. I am on my second day of liquids so far I have not had any headaches or nausea. I am drinking plenty of water and broth. My breakfast & lunch was 2 protein shakes. Dinner consisted of cream of chicken soup, sugar free jello. If any one has some good suggestions for soft protein that is what I will be eating tomorrow.

Thanks for the support.

If you're feeling okay that's awesome. Hopefully tou'll cruise right through this thing. Is Norm doing it also? I didn't think so! Hang in there. . .

Norm is not doing this with me. I have hime & the kids eating before I come home. Right now I'm having some wonderful split pea soup for lunch.

This is my 3rd day of the test. I am eating canned tuna, cottage chesse and eggs. It has been going well. I'm not hungry but I will say it is boring. I have not lost much weight so far only 2lbs. I am hoping to start jump my weight loss. I was expecting, after hearing from others, to be sick and have a headache. Guess I got lucky there. When Joann asked us at one of our meetings if you ate because you were hungry or was it mind hunger? I have figured it out it is mind hunger.
I want to thank all of you for the support you give. This is a life time journey for me to keep the weight off. I would be arrogant if I thought I could do it on my own.

The fact that you've not been sick as a dog and lost 10 lbs is that you were doing so great before this "test". It's kind of a punishment for success! I think it's awesome and confirmation on how hard you've worked and how well you've done. . . And you're on track for a 4-5 lb loss week which is just gravy. . . Sometimes the only downside is you have to look a little harder to see just how wonderful you're doing. . .

Mike cheers
